GPSR Statement | Panache Lingerie

EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) (EU) 2023/988

Product Risk Analysis & Technical Files

New Product Risk Analysis – all new products are reviewed to identify any areas of special attention by our Design, Technical and Quality Control teams. This will ensure that all garments that we manufacture adhere to our strict product quality and product safety standards

Technical Files – all of the garments that Panache manufacture have their own technical files. These files include full instructions on how our garments should be assembled to achieve the required quality standards. The Technical Files are prepared and held at our UK head office. The files are shared with our factories prior to the start of production.

Quality Control Procedures

  • Prior to sending raw materials to our factories all suppliers are required to have their materials tested by an accredited lab to prove the materials adhere to the agreed specifications

  • During production our quality control teams review that the correct standards are being maintained both during, and after, the completion of each production order

  • One finished garment, from every production order, is tested for durability by an external laboratory. This test involves replicating several domestic wash cycles. This will confirm both the garment, and raw materials used, comply with our quality standards. The durability wash also confirms that all additional trims and components have remained attached to the garment.

  • Every garment we produce contains the following information. The information is provided by sewn in labels or heat seals that are attached to the garment.

  • Wash & care instructions – when followed these instructions will help prolong the life and performance of the garment.

  • Product information - this identifies the style number, production order number and country of origin. This allows us to review any subsequent customer complaints regarding the quality, or performance, of our products.

  • All of our production sites have a strict policy for the control of metal and sharp items, including sewing needles.

Legislation – Panache requires that all of our raw material suppliers are compliant with Oeko Tex Standard 100. This ensure that no harmful substances, or chemicals, are used in the preparation of our fabrics and other items. The Oeko Tex 100 Standard ensures compliance with REACH regulations which were developed to protect human health, and the environment, from exposure to harmful chemicals.
